Hummelstein Iron & Metal Inc., was founded in 1907 and is one of Northeast Arkansas' oldest businesses. Founded by Jacob Hummelstein in 1907, we are proud of our heritage. The key to our success is great associates who serve our customers with quality services delivered with integrity.

Hummelstein Recycling produces high quality raw material feed stock for steel mills, secondary smelters, paper mills and glass manufacturers. Our suppliers of scrap materials include industry, commercial businesses, governmental organizations, solid waste districts and individuals.

Our values are based on honesty, integrity and a high ethical standard. We value our associates and provide a safe and environmentally responsible work place for all. Environmental responsibility is not limited to recycling, but includes all aspects of our company including our Environmental Policy. We believe that a strong community is based on strong leadership and participation by its citizens. Community involvement by our associates is an important part of our value system.
